How Is Male Skin Different Than Female?
Sebum is produced twice as much as women, so male skin is oilier and shinier than female skin on average. Because of this, pH is lower than female skin and is prone to impurities and acne. Adult males are less prone to dry skin than adult females. Male skin is about 20 – 25 percent thicker than women’s and has a more rigid texture. Additionally, male skin contains more collagen, which gives it a tighter, firmer appearance. Other than having facial hair, there are structural differences between men’s skin and women’s skin. Testosterone stimulation causes skin thickness, which accounts for why a man’s skin is about 25% thicker than a woman’s. There are also small amounts of estrogen and progesterone in male skin. It describes changes in male hormone levels that cause aging. The same symptoms are also known as testosterone deficiency, androgen deficiency, and late-onset hypogonadism. Male menopause involves a drop in testosterone production in men who are age 50 or older. It’s often affiliated with hypogonadism.

Unhealthy fat can increase the production of estrogen and can worsen your symptoms of hormonal imbalance. Instead, have eggs and fatty fish.
