Jan Marini Benzoyl Peroxide Acne Treatment Wash 2.5% – therapeutical anti-bacterial treatment for people who suffer from acne and acne prone skin. Benzoyl Peroxide, proven by the American Academy of Dermatology, significantly reduces P acne bacteria (the bacteria believed to play a primary role in the inflammation of the acne process).This delicate wash removes sebum and cellular debris without irritation to the skin. Individuals with oily skin will appreciate the result of clean, soft, and smooth skin.Directions: Apply a small amount (about the size of a quarter) to the face. Work into a lather. Gently remove with a wash cloth and lukewarm water. Splash face with lukewarm water. Pat dry. Because excessive drying of the skin may occur, start with one application daily, then gradually increase to two or three times daily if needed or as directed by a physician. If bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day. If going outside, apply sunscreen after using this product.
