Obviously, braids are our thing around here. We love big braids, small braids, knot braids, french braids, fishtail braids, dutch braids, rope braids, any kind of braids! We’ve done some mini braids in the past, and I’m obsessed with how simple and pretty they are. I thought I would do another one that’s easy for girls with super-fine hair. A lot of you say you have a hard time getting these little guys to stay put so today I’m showing you my favorite trick for that. This can also be done on thick or coarse hair, but it seems to be a major challenge for girls with fine hair because it tends to slip out. Here’s how I do it…
- Air dry clean hair.
- Spray in a light veil ofOCEAN SPRITZÜberall. The reason this is one of my favorite ocean sprays is because it breaks down and becomes softer with a little heat.
- Rough dry your hair with just your fingers and a blow dryer.
- Make 2 mini braids on the sides, just above your ears. Tie them together in a knot behind your head and pin!
The spray will keep the bobbypin from slipping and keep the braids from slipping as well! This is a simple quick trick that has helped me countless times!
